Troy Sgro, Arborist - B.Sc. Urban Forestry and Urban Greenspace Management, ISA Certified Arborist®

Troy is an ISA certified arborist who graduated from UBC in 2024 with a Bachelor of Urban Forestry (Hons.) and a Minor in Urban Greenspace Management. While studying, he spent his free time volunteering with local organizations in Vancouver to manage invasive species in urban parks and restore forest ecosystems. He continued restoring ecosystems as part of Diamond Head’s operations crew before recently joining the arborist team, where he broadened his role in measuring and planning for changing urban forest landscapes. In his time outside of work, Troy enjoys hiking, traveling, and trivia.
