Codi Gambino, Junior Biologist - B.Sc.

Codi has been with Diamond Head since 2021, beginning on the operations crew and later serving as Assistant Field Operations Manager. In 2026, she transitioned into her current role as Junior Biologist. She holds a degree in Environment and Sustainability Geography from the University of British Columbia, where she specialized in Biogeography. Her studies sparked a strong interest in biodiversity, conservation, and ecology.

Through her years in field operations, Codi gained hands-on experience managing invasive species, planting native vegetation, and supporting ecological restoration projects. In her current role, she applies this field experience to watercourse assessments, invasive species inventories, environmental assessments, and bird nesting surveys.

Codi grew up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, where her appreciation for the natural world and commitment to environmental conservation first began.
