Dana Kluchinski, Junior Biologist - MRM Planning, BSc. Biology and Environmental Studies

Dana is a Junior Biologist at Diamond Head. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies from Ursinus College in 2016. She worked as the Ureka Nature Center Director in Equatorial Guinea, supervising an ecotourism initiative, artisan collective, and primate, sea turtle, and bird surveys. After moving to Vancouver, Dana worked on the operations team at DHC before pursuing her master’s in resource management planning at Simon Fraser University. Her research focused on conserving Indigenous cultural heritage through community planning and Indigenous-led management as a part of the Xwe’etay/Lasqueti Archaeology Project. She has also worked as an environmental and cycling educator and is passionate about the next generation of environmentalists and advocates for cycling infrastructure.  At Diamond Head, Dana hopes to use her background in both biology and planning to support diverse projects.
