EAGLE MOUNTAIN PIPELINE Review
DESCRIPTION: Technical Review of Eagle Mountain Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project Environmental Assessment
CLIENT: Tsleil-Waututh First Nation
Diamond Head Consulting, in partnership with Zoetica Environmental Research Services, was contracted by the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation (TWN) to conduct a technical review of the proposed Eagle Mountain Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project. The TWN were concerned about potential effects of the project to the Indian River Watershed. The review focused on the methods, assumptions, and conclusions associated with the wildlife and wildlife habitat sections of the environmental assessment. Tsleil-Waututh’s Integrated Stewardship Plan for the watershed was also consulted to guide the review. Technical comments were submitted to the BC environmental assessment office for consideration as part of the regulatory review process for the Environmental Assessment Certificate.
