Aubrey Butcher, Restoration Ecologist - M.Sc., BIT
Aubrey is a restoration biologist with a Master of Science degree in Ecological Restoration from BCIT and SFU. He has worked on a wide range of projects including restoration of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. His masters thesis focused on the restoration of a lake complex for Parks Canada and built upon historical records and previous research to mitigate the effects of excessive nutrient additions to the lakes.
His work has focused on invasive species management in natural and urban areas as well as ecosystem mapping and implementing restoration projects. Aubrey has also worked on riparian areas regulations and environmental assessments in his time at Diamond Head.
